As a hungry customer i normally have to line up in a huge line to wait for my order then have to wait to pick up too. But everything changed , when the hungry jack APP was realised everything changed!

The App gave me a completely different experience as i don’t need to wait in line anymore , i can just order my meal on the train and pick it up at the store after i get off the train, this not only saves time but also very enjoyable experience too !

As i explore further with the app , i found out that the APP is not just an APP , its a place for winning free food !! Its simple all you need is to click the Check In & Win button, and shake your phone and you’ll randomly generate a prize – including free burgers, free drinks and other discounted items! This strategy allows HJ to attract many customers attention , because of the word”free” no one can resist free food ! So from method HJ draws many customers and can even lead them to spread words on social media or word of mouth, where more and more people would know this app.

The prices differ in times , this can keep customers interest and increasing the brand loyalty. The prices are listed below, from seen all those offers , which allows customer to have a feeling they will receive lots of benefit for visiting the store , resulting the brand to be more aware to the customer. Further, the app collects customers data , by understanding what kind of offer customer accept then it will provide similar offer in the future , this will keep the customer happy and keep them going back to the store.

Lastly, hungry jack use prize only at specific time to attract customer , for example they have the lowest customer visiting in 6- 10 30am they would put a special offer at that time , which they did so for breakfast special. The app also features a store locator and the first nutritional calculator from a fast food restaurant, empowering consumers to make informed dietary decisions.

  1. This is definitely an effective marketing campaign for Hungry Jack, the queuing system reduces the time it will take for a customer to stand and wait. The highlight “shake your phone and you’ll randomly generate a prize” means more engagement with every customer and most importantly the prize is unknown which adds a sense of excitement. It’s just brilliant, I mean think about it who doesn’t free food? If we talking about areas of improvement, I would say maybe Hungry Jack should attach a share button right after you’ve withdrawn the mystery. Well done Fanjiang you’ve a done a great job.

    • Thank you Tom , yeah thats a good suggestion they should have a share button this can increase the word of mouth strategy can even attract more customers! But the shake and win method is just wonderful , as this helped Hungry jack to attract lots of customer and compete with Maccas and KFC, where the other two don’t have this shake and win strategy . So this helps HJ to increase customer engagement and amount significantly , also personal experience i see lots of people standing outside of HJ to see when they win , if its good they go to HJ. Same with me , this allows customer to think of HJ out of the three big fast food stores first.

  2. Restaurants nowadays tries their best to be able to attract their consumers, and having them is a benefit for us; no need to wait on the line especially on the rush hour. McDonalds, KFC (as you mentioned before), and other shops are also implementing the same kind of application.It’s a shame that not all people are downloading this app. If marketers would promote the benefits of having their application (queueless order, vouchers, coupons, special deals), people would surely download this application. Nice post by the way!

    • Thanks for reading ! Its true that not all people are downloading the app, i think mainly because they don’t know the benefits . So its crucial for them to advertise their app so they can attract more customer. I downloaded Hungryjack app because of the poster and shake win offer !

  3. With havin so much content do you ever run into
    any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
    My site has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself
    or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it
    up all over the web without my authorization. Do
    you know any solutions to help reduce content from being ripped off?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.
